Paul William Walker IV was an American actor. He is best known for his role as Brian O'Conner in the Quick & Furious franchise. Walker started his career as a kid star in the 1980s, gaining recognition in the 1990s after appearing in the television soap opera The Young and the Uneasy; he received praise for his performances in the teenager comedy She's All That and the comedy-drama Varsity Blues (both 1999), and saw global fame by starring in The Quick and the Furious (2001 ).
He followed this with the box-office disappointments Into the Blue (2005) and Running Terrified (2006 ), although made praise for his efficiency in the survival drama 8 Below, and for his portrayal of Hank Hansen in Flags of Our Dads (both 2006). Beyond these, Walker mostly appeared in low spending plan action films, however starred in the commercially effective break-in film Takers (2010 ).
